This marks a significant milestone in their digital journey. From migrating to the Cloud to seamlessly integrating with 10 diverse applications, including traditional On-Premise systems, modern APIs, and applications requiring SFTP/S3 file transfer, we’ve made it happen with expertise and precision.
Problem Statement: Moving their SIS to the cloud presented a key challenge: modernising their integrations, particularly direct SQL database connections that had been developed many years ago and were no longer permissible in a cloud-architected platform. An integration platform was required to consume data coming from the numerous SIS APIs and translate that data into whatever method the 10 downstream applications required (SQL DB injection, S3/SFTP file delivery, or API).
Use Case: UCA needed an integration partner that understood higher education student systems and the challenges presented when integrating numerous systems. Working alongside UCA and their SIS vendor as they moved to the cloud, Amos worked with the client to unpick existing integrations, baseline today’s business requirements, translate them into integration specifications, and deliver a total of 10 integrations and 34 individual data workflows.
UCA is now live in the cloud with a fully modernised suite of integrations, closely supported and monitored by Amos Connect and its “integration as a service” SLA, where Amos experts are on hand to help diagnose issues and provide timely resolutions.
We’re thrilled to announce that the University of Hertfordshire has officially partnered with Amos Connect! This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the university’s journey towards enhancing efficiency and excellence in education.
Challenges Faced: Over time, the university encountered obstacles in managing its diverse range of courses with multiple CRMs, including Gecko and Salesforce. This led to a fragmented applicant journey, making the onboarding process cumbersome and less efficient.
The Solution: With Amos Connect, the university is simplifying everything! By seamlessly integrating various admissions, lead generation, and CRM systems, along with partner institution data feeds, they’re ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for applicants while boosting lead generation conversion rates.
Looking Forward: We’re eagerly anticipating collaborating with the University of Hertfordshire on this transformative journey. Together, we’ll work towards achieving greater efficiency and excellence in education, setting a new standard for student experience and success.
Our work with CSSD (Royal Central School of Speech and Drama), a constituent of the University of London since 2005, is a classic example of Amos Connect automating data flow between systems to improve the student experience.
The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (CSSD) came to Amos with the need to integrate its newly adopted Student Information Management System with its ID Card System. After a period of looking at what was out in the market, Amos piqued Central’s interest with their unique offering of providing a full ‘integration-as-a-service.’ This meant that Amos would work with Central’s stakeholders to understand the integration requirements, implement it and then provide ongoing support thereafter.
- Charles Berumudez, Director of IT, CSSD
Amos is delighted to welcome the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, to the growing number of higher education institutions choosing Amos Connect as their integration as a service provider.
It’s an exciting time to be at CSSD as they invest and modernise their enterprise applications to the benefit of students and staff alike.
